McKay Enterprises is a family owned design build company. Alan and Sandy have over 30 years experience in construction. Along with general contracting experience, we have ‘hands on experience’ in most trades. Alan has 4 years studying structural engineering at ODU and 2 years drafting at ATC. We can also design your project and prepare your construction drawings (blue prints and specifications). Contact us for all of your construction projects. With our education and experience we can take your ideas and needs and develop a design and construction drawings for your project. If you sign a construction contract with us, the design and plans are discounted. We can work with you on design and plans even if you already have a builder or chose another builder.

We are a hands on builder / general contractor. We are on the job daily and use only the best subcontractors who do quality work. Our work is based on structural engineering standards not just standard construction practices. Our goal is to complete your project on time on budget. Our estimates are detailed and our allowances are realistic. A completed project that we can all be proud of is our final goal.
